![]() Plus, we are not billionaires who can afford to drop what we are doing and head across the world so jobs and family are important - meaning that I am holding myself to weather limitations but I give myself leeway to select a time for departure during the day that I am in, and allow ‘historical weather’ - hence my inability to do my next leg last night with all the fireworks around. When I do it myself, I am decently capable of trimming the aircraft (given no turbulence ) so I figure that a person in the second seat would be helping me out. I use them when I feel it is ‘justified’ (heading to and from an NDB that is within range with good weather visibility or when I am flying a strict heading for a long continuous time (ie: over water)). ![]() Personally, I have no problem with the heading hold, altitude hold (or vertical speed hold) modes of the autopilot. Good gosh! Now that’s a hard-mode module to use. ![]() I think this will be more than acceptable ![]()
